Ed Han, Co-Founder and CEO
- Where were you before Tiny Prints?
- Prior to Tiny Prints, I worked for my wife at her own start-up, Beau-coup.com. Before that, I helped build the T-mobile Sidekick at Danger, Inc. Between 1998 and 2000, I feverishly studied everything about the internet and e-commerce at business school in Silicon Valley, and was dismayed to find that the internet bubble burst almost exactly on the same day as my graduation. Before heading off to business school, I tried to start an e-commerce company selling care packages to the parents of college students—I failed miserably, but the experience gave me the best business lesson I've learned to date. My first job out of college was as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, doing my part to help pave the path for the biggest financial crisis of the twenty-first century. Between 1990 and 1994, I studied economics at the University of Chicago, and before that I ran my own landscaping business, moving business and tennis racquet stringing business—I guess you could say I'm a fan of entrepreneurship.
- What's your favorite food?
- Carnitas burrito bowl from Chipotle
- Tell us something interesting about yourself.
- What's interesting about me is that I grew up very uninteresting in a small, remote, rural town in northeastern Missouri. I was forced to find interesting things to do with my time from an early age out of sheer boredom.
- Which Tiny Prints design collection do you most identify with?
- Because I'm "frugal," as my staff would say, I definitely associate myself with the Studio Basics.
Kelly Berger, Co-founder and Chief Innovation Architect
- Where were you before Tiny Prints?
- I was born and raised in Illinois, and received my engineering degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After moving to Silicon Valley, I worked for Intel for more than four years, followed by several years at wireless internet start-ups. I was most recently at Danger, Inc., the company that created the T-Mobile Sidekick device and where I met my fellow co-founder, Ed Han. I met my wife soon after moving to the Bay Area, and we now have two wonderful children together.
- What's your favorite food?
- There are not many foods that I don't like, but my favorite is Thai food.
- Tell us something interesting about yourself.
- I had a mullet while growing up, like many guys in the Midwest. I have since switched to a tamer hairstyle, and now spend most weekends doing outdoor activities with my family and dancing with my kids.
- Which Tiny Prints design collection do you most identify with?
- I love the Contemporary Collection.
Laura Ching, Co-Founder and Chief Merchandising Officer
- Where were you before Tiny Prints?
- Before my mission to bring fresh designs and style to Tiny Prints as the head of our merchandising and creative departments, I served in various merchandising and marketing roles at Walmart.com. Prior to that, I attended Stanford Business School with my fellow co-founder, Ed Han, and worked at Prophet Brand Strategy as a marketing consultant. Before joining the working world, I studied economics at Stanford University, but I grew up far away from it all in Hawaii, where I enjoyed endless sunshine and warm beaches. I hope some of that effortless island style shines through in a lot of Tiny Prints products and the look of our site.
- What's your favorite food?
- Dim sum, French pastries and lots of late night snacks

- I became a paper lover at an early age because my mom loved hand-written notes and was a stickler for sending a personal letter within a day of receiving a gift or nice gesture. Now, as a mom of two young children, I've regrettably had to relax her 1-day rule just a tad, but I already have enough stationery to last me a lifetime. I'm still fanatical about beautiful paper and hope to instill the same appreciation for handwritten thank you notes in my children, as well!
- Which Tiny Prints design collection do you most identify with?
- The Contemporary Collection
Mak Azadi, Chief Operating Officer
- Where were you before Tiny Prints?
- Most of my career has been in finance and corporate strategy. Before joining Tiny Prints, I spent years indulging my coffee addiction at Starbucks, where I led a number of acquisitions and strategic alliances, as well as the business development and strategy team responsible for nearly 4,000 licensed stores across the United States. Prior to Starbucks I worked at Amazon.com where I managed controllership, process improvement and strategic support for the operations division. Before all of that, I was a nerdy MBA student at Carnegie Mellon University. And before that I was a nerdy CPA.
- What's your favorite food?
- Either pizza or hamburgers.
- Tell us something interesting about yourself.
- I used to be on a break dancing crew. One year we won a contest, and the video of it was shown on the TV show "Solid Gold." That's probably more embarrassing than interesting…
- Which Tiny Prints design collection do you most identify with?
- I relate most to The Contemporary Collection because it's simple, elegant and just says "Tiny Prints" to me.

After more than 15 years of experience in Silicon Valley, I've lived through the rise of the Internet, the roaring nineties and the dot com bust! But throughout my career, I have been most passionate about solving new problems with state-of-the-art software solutions. Prior to joining Tiny Prints, I managed the definition and development of community and social platform at Yahoo! Prior to Yahoo!, I held senior positions at Oracle, where I was responsible for Oracle Application Server enterprise management tools. At Keynote Systems, where I was one of the initial team members at the company, I helped transform it into a worldwide leader in Internet performance management. In addition, I was bit by the entrepreneurial bug and co-founded and served as the CEO of Equbits Inc., a start-up that built predictive modeling and analytics software for major Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley. Go Bears!

I am passionate about helping people express their passions, so it's no surprise that I spent the last decade marketing products that help people do just that, be it through stationery, t-shirts, or beanie baby collections. Prior to joining Tiny Prints, I was at CafePress where I defined the brand strategy, launched a new brand identity, and implemented integrated marketing programs that brought it to life, including the award-winning Elections 2008 campaign. I also spent over six years at eBay using pretty much every marketing channel (direct mail, search marketing, PR, social media) to ignite people's passion for collecting just about anything. Before going web 2.0, advertising was my preferred arsenal to help people get in touch with their inner beauty (Dove) or find better mortgage rates (Bank of America), and I practiced my craft at several agencies on Madison Avenue.
I have an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA from Brown University.
- What's your favorite food?
- Too many to name! I hardly ever find any kind of food I don't like, but if I must choose, it would either be Indian or sushi.
- Tell us something interesting about yourself.
- I grew up in Taiwan by way of the Dominican Republic, so we regularly spoke three languages around the family dinner table every night. Also, I'd like to be a jazz singer some day.
- Which Tiny Prints design collection do you most identify with?
- Favorite Collection: The Portrait Collection because I'm so in love with my kids I can't help but snap their pictures all the time!
