How do I create a personalized greeting card?

To create a personalized greeting card, follow the directions below:

For Corporate Holiday Cards:

  1. On the Enter Info page, please enter your company and/or company employees name using the template provided. We will use your information to create an online preview with suggested text on the next page (Personalize page)
    • You can choose to click "continue" and skip this step and enter your own wording on the next page
  2. Folded Cards:
    • You may have the option to print photo(s) and/or text inside your card. In the "Layout" section, please select the layout you would like to use for your card.
  3. To upload photo:
    • Either click on the photo area OR click on the "add photo" link below the card in the Photo Tray area
    • Click on the "browse" button to browse for photos on your computer
    • Once a photo is uploaded, you can click "ok" to return to the card OR browse for another photo
    • Photo(s) will be deposited into your photo tray below the card for you to select, drag and drop into photo area(s)
    • You may upload up to 20 photos to your photo tray
  4. To move photos:
    • You can drag and drop photo(s) from photo tray into the photo area(s)
  5. To move photo from one photo area to another:
    • At this time, we do not allow drag and drop from photo area to photo area. In order to move one photo from one photo area to another, you need to drag the photo from the photo tray into the photo area you desire
  6. To remove a photo from a photo area:
    • To remove a photo from a photo area, click on the photo to display the edit photo window and click on the "remove photo" link or trash icon
  7. To remove a photo from the card (photo tray):
    • To remove a photo from the card (or photo tray), click on the "remove photo" link in the photo tray and click the delete button next to the photo you want
  8. To edit your photo:
    • We are introducing a number of photo editing tools including the ability to move your photo, zoom in and reduce, rotate right or left, and color options (black & white; sepia). Just click on the photo to display the Edit Photo window.
    • If you do not like the edits you made and want to revert back to the original photo, just click on the "revert to original" button
  9. You can mouse over the card to see the text areas
  10. To edit your text:
    • Click on the text area(s) to add or edit text
    • You can customize the font type, size, and color of your text; however, we highly recommend that you use the default font type, size, and color suggested by our designers
    • When you add or edit your text in the Edit Text pop-up, the preview will update instantaneously on your card so that you can easily determine if you want to keep or change your edits
    Please note that if the amount of text you entered in the selected font size exceeds the text area, you must either remove some of your text OR reduce your font size

  1. On the Enter Info page, please enter your event information using the template provided. We will use your information to create an online preview with suggested text on the next page (Personalize page)
    • You can choose to click "continue" and skip this step and enter your own wording on the next page
  2. We offer both flat and folded party invitations to accommodate many types of corporate events. Please note the following details:
    • Most of our corporate event invitations come on flat cards that provide ample room for standard event information. If your event requires more printing space on your invitations for complex details, we also offer a select number of folded designs with customizable interiors.
    • Folded designs offer space for custom text on both the left and right inside panels. To customize these invitations, add the general information you want on the cover of the invitation in the appropriate boxes on the Enter Info page. Proceed to the Personalize page to access our text editor by clicking on any of the design's text boxes. You can then enter the text you would like on the inside of your invitation. The text editor offers a great deal of flexibility, but please feel free to enter any additional formatting requests in the Special Instructions box prior to checkout. Our representatives will assist you in the customization process and provide a free digital proof once your invitation is ready for approval.
    • If you would still like to include additional text in your invitation, we suggest printing additional pages on your home computer and including them inside of our folded designs. Using a folded invitation as a cover will give your pamphlet a sleek and refined appearance.
    • Folded and flat formats are not interchangeable between designs, so we are not able to convert a flat design into a folded format or vice versa at this time.

    • Upload photos by clicking on the photo area OR the "add photo" link below the card
    • You may upload up to 20 photos to determine which photos to use for your card
    • Photo(s) downloaded will be displayed in the photo tray area below the card
    • You can drag and drop photo from photo tray to the photo area
    • To edit photo, click on the photo to display the Edit Photo window
      1. You can move photo left, right, up, down; zoom in/zoom out; rotate left or right; and change color options (black & white, sepia)
      2. To remove photo from a photo area, click on the "remove photo" link or icon in the Edit Photo window
    • You may remove photo(s) from your card and photo tray by clicking on the "remove photo" link
  6. For folded cards:
    You can select the layout you wish to use for the inside of your card
    1. Some layout options will allow you to print photos inside your card
    2. If you select the all-text layout option for your left-side (vertical card) or top (horizontal card) panel, please review the text you enter carefully as Tiny Prints will not be responsible for any spelling and/or grammar mistakes. We suggest that you copy and paste the text you enter into Microsoft Word to check for any spelling and/or grammar errors
  7. You can click on "save" to save your project to your account. You must register for an account to save your card design. Saved card projects are accessible via My Account
  8. You can click on "next" to proceed to Preview page
  9. On the Preview page, you can enter any special instructions which you would like our designers to pay special attention to
  10. Please approve your card by typing your initials in the approval card box
  11. Click "next" to proceed to the Envelopes page
  12. You can select your envelope options and return address printing on this page
  13. Click "next" to proceed to the Related Items page where you can select matching address labels or other stationery products
  14. Click "next" to add products to Cart
  15. You can select proof or rush service in your Cart

Do you support Apple's Safari web browser?
We currently have personalization engine compatibility for Apple's Safari web browser users in version 3.0 and above. However, we recommend using Firefox on your Mac to personalize your product.

Can I use my company logo on a card?

Yes, you can submit a company logo for certain cards. However, not all logos will work on every design due to size, file compatibility and design limitations. Please call 877.300.9256 with any questions.

How do I add a logo to my card?

You can add a logo to your card using one of two methods:

  1. Web-based logo upload system (available for certain designs only)
    Note: This feature is only compatible with high resolution jpg, png, gif, tif or bmp files. If you have vector AI or EPS files, please complete your order by personalizing your card's text, clicking "Next" to skip the photo upload process and then using the Special Instructions box to indicate that you will be using our email-based system to send your logo separately. Please see below for details.
    1. Begin customizing your card by clicking "Personalize" and following the prompts on screen.
    2. Click "Add/Remove Photos" at the bottom of the photo upload page.
    3. Select "My Computer" from the list of available photo sources (Note: If your logo is stored on a photo sharing site such as Flickr, SmugMug or Picasa, please see additional information about accessing these sites in the photo FAQ section).
    4. Click the "Browse" button.
    5. Select a logo with a supported file type and click "OK." The logo will load and appear in your photo tray.
    6. Click "I'm Done" to return to the personalization page and use the uploaded logo(s) to complete your card.
    7. If your logo is not previewing correctly, click the logo's photo box to access the photo editing page, where you can adjust the image's color, zoom, rotation and placement. If your logo still doesn't preview correctly, press "Next" and leave a comment in the Special Instructions box detailing how you would like your logo to appear.
    8. We will send you a free digital proof once your personalized card is ready for approval.
  2. Email-based logo upload system (available for certain designs only):
    1. Personalize your card with text and/or photos.
    2. Leave a comment in the Special Instructions box indicating that you will email Tiny Prints a company logo separately. Please note where you would like to position your logo on the card, as well.
    3. Place your order and note your order confirmation number.
    4. Email your company logo to logos@tinyprints.com. We recommend that you send your logo in either an EPS or AI vector file format. Include your order number, email address and first and last name in the email.
    5. We will send you a free digital proof once the customized card and logo are ready for your approval.

Please note that submitting a company logo will increase your processing time by 1-2 business days (assuming that the logo is submitted promptly and in the correct format).

Can I print on the back of the card?

No, we cannot print or change the logo on the back of the card.

How do I submit my photo for a photo card?

Our cutting edge personalization tools allow the user to upload the photo through the personalization process and play with the color tones and cropping of the image on our site. Also, the user can preview the photo in the card during the personalization process. Alternatively, you can place your order and submit your digital photo via the Photo Upload form (http://www.tinyprints.com/photo-upload-form.php) or by emailing us at photos@tinyprints.com with your order number, email address and first/last name. If you have any questions about your photo or how to send us your digital photo, feel free to contact our customer service representatives, who are all trained to work with customers in regards to photos. Can I send you the photos that I want to use with my card via mail?

No, unfortunately we do not accept physical photos - only the digital version.

What if I do not have my photos ready? Can I still complete my order and submit my photos later?

If you do not have your photos ready, you may complete your order and instruct the designer in the Special Instructions box on the Preview page that you will be submitting your photos later.

To submit your photos later, visit our photo upload form and follow the instructions provided. Please upload your photo in JPEG file format with a minimum resolution of 1530 x 1320 pixels (w x h). If you only have a TIF file, it must be emailed with your order number to photos@tinyprints.com.

Color images can be converted to black and white or sepia tone at no additional charge. Please specify this request when submitting your photo.

If you choose to submit your photo later, please do not resize your photo before sending, as this may compromise print quality. If you do have any special requests regarding cropping, be sure to provide this information for our designer to follow in the Photo Instructions box on our Photo Upload page. Our designer may also need to crop your photo to make it fit properly.

What are my customization options and how much do they cost?

You can change the font size, color and typeface during the personalization process. If the font or color that you prefer is not available through the personalization process, you can request a customization change for a fee of $15 per color and font style. Please contact our customer representative to confirm the color in a CMYK value or the font style you see on another card on our website. For more information on customization changes that you can request, please refer to our Terms and Services.

Can I choose a different color for a card?

You may not alter the product color for a corporate card at this time.

No, we cannot alter the card to a different size and/or format that is not already provided.

Can you put an image on the inside or back of a greeting card?

One of our newest features is providing users with the ability to put a photo on the inside of a folded greeting card. Just select a layout with a photo and drag and drop your selected photo(s) into the photo area(s). At this time, we do not allow printing on the back of a greeting card.

Can I have a personal message printed inside? How?

Yes, during the card ordering process, on the Personalize page, you can create your own greeting and personal message and select a font, size, and color for your message. You can preview the message and experiment with fonts and colors.

For folded cards, you can personalize your message on the inside left (or inside top) of a greeting card and should not be confused with the Greeting that appears on the inside right (or inside bottom) of your card.

What type of pen can I use to write inside my folded card?

If you would like to write inside your folded cards, we recommend using a ballpoint stick pen or a Sharpie. Please be careful when using a gel pen, rollerball pen, felt-tip pen, or any other liquid-ink based pens as there is a tendency for the ink to smudge if it is not completely dry.

How can I start a new card?

To start a new card, you can go back to the category page by clicking the "change design" link on the Personalize page and select a new design to personalize. If it is within the same session that you started personalizing your first card, any photos that you have uploaded and/or text edits that you have made will be carried forward to the new design.

To save a copy of your first design, click the "save" button on the personalize page and you can access the project from "My Account" while safely starting a new card.

What type of paper are the cards printed on?

Our premium 110lb. Matte Cardstock features a smooth and silky surface that is easily impressionable and provides a unique and luxurious feel.

Our premium 110lb. White Smooth Matte Cardstock is coated to prevent ink transfer. The coating adds a subtle sheen and extra-smooth surface.

Our 110 lb. Ecru Felt Cardstock features a soft, off-white color and a subtle texture that provides a rich and supple appearance to each design.

Tiny Prints recycled paper consists of 50% recycled content, of which 30% is post-consumer waste. All cards printed on recycled paper also come with recycled white envelopes.

Which envelopes can I order with my card?

All our card orders include standard white envelopes free of charge. For certain card designs, we offer colored envelopes for an additional price of $0.10 per unit. The colored envelope choices that we offer are metallic silver, chocolate brown, vellum red, and metallic navy blue. We also offer white envelopes lined in either crystal or silver for an additional price of $0.35 per envelope. We do not support return address printing on colored envelopes at this point.

What return address printing options exist?

Return address printing is available at an additional cost of $0.50 per envelope.Return address is printed in blank ink. Currently we do not support return address printing on colored envelopes.

Do different cards require different postage?

Standard 5"x7" and 4.25"x5.5" cards require regular first class postage of $0.41.Square cards require an extra postage of $0.17-$0.22 depending on weight. Please check with your local US Postal Office for more information.

For orders more than 500 cards, shipping price is adjusted to account for the increased cost. All of our shipping rates are extremely competitive and reflect the carrier's charges to us.
